Fall Foliage Color Palette

I love color. And I often use nature to draw inspiration from. I love playing with color to create fun combinations. Even though most of what I make for my shop and patterns are hats, I almost exclusively made afghans up until I opened my Etsy shop. Even now when I am coming up with a color palette to use, I picture a granny square afghan in my head. I do this so often that I decided that I would start sharing a color palette every month on my blog.

The days are getting shorter, the nights cooler, and I have been enjoying having the windows open. The foliage is in all of it’s autumn glory and I love seeing the beautiful colors while driving the car or going for a walk. This month’s color inspiration comes from nature’s fall splendor.
